Greetings Friends! Welcome to the sneak peeks for this month's Alley Way awesome release!!! Today's creation features an ADORABLE Narwhal that I've water colored. I used my Kurtake Gansai Tambi paints to create depth and translucency in this scene. I chose my Peacock Feathers Distress Ink to create crisp looking waves in the background.
I cut my main panel using a set of Spellbinders circles and using 3-D craft foam popped the entire layer up onto a glitter matte. The glitter paper was purchased in the open stock section at Michael's. I love it as it's chunky and bright looking but it doesn't rub off and get everywhere. It's a good quality glitter paper and it comes in a lot of colors. It sells for $1.99 for a 12" x 12" sheet. But they always have sales so I stock up when I can! No, I don't work for Michael's. I just really like the stuff.
I used a sketch from MFT to create the rest of my project. I layered lots of different papers using varying size banners. I added some glitter paper strips to the edges and some enamel dots to finish it off.
Thanks so much for coming by today! I'm so excited for you to see the rest of the release!
Crafty Hugs!
