Happy Tiddly Tuesday!!! Oh did I have fun with this one!! This week's Tiddly Challenge is to incorporate a ticket into your creation or to create using a jumbo tag. I went with the latter. I simply ADORE tags and I used them frequently in my creations. I do for some reason, struggle when using them as the main component in lieu of a card base in a creation. I eventually figure it out but for some reason I stare at them on my desk for quite some time before I can get my mojo going!
This week I've used two Tiddly Inks images - Whoops and the Text Paper from the Steampunk Extra Goodies pack!
I colored Whoops in with my Copics and paper pieced her dress. I took a bit of sandpaper and distressed her dress a bit. I then set my main image aside while I worked on the elements of my tag. I covered the back of my tag with the Text paper. I then distressed it with Tim Holtz - Tea Dye Ink and a sponge.
I then went through my scrap bins mixing and matching pieces together and stitching everything in place. I used a paper doily cut with an MFT die, a large blingy flourish and a chipboard heart. For the heart, I coated it in rich red craft ink, thick embossing powder and heat set it. I simply ADORE the texture it adds!! I used some vintage cotton ribbon, an SU! jumbo rivet and some PTI aqua ribbon for the top of my tag.
As a last embellishment, I pulled out my chocolate Doodlebug glitter and spiced up her ice cream cone - both in her hand and in her hair!!
I do so hope you come join us a the Tiddly Inks Challenge blog this week!! I can't wait to see what you create!!

Meredith, this is adorable! I love her pink hair - so cute. :) xo
She ROCKS. I love the distressing on her dress, in the second photo it looks like water droplets.
The glazing on the heart is so fab, often a step I miss - I'm lazy.
You were so right take all your elements outside the tag frame, it looks so AWESOME and more visually interesting! The stitching is so wonderful - again a step I am too lazy to do.
This is so very pretty! Love all of the bling and your embellishments are just amazing. You have some very fabulous lines in that creation. LOVE her hair.
