MFT- Wednesday Stamp Club

Hey All!  Popping in on a gorgeous Saturday in between family day at the pool and date night with hubby (I literally have about 7 minutes before our sitter arrives!) to bring you my weekly sketch challenge for the above MFT sketch!  Such a fun sketch this week!

Here's my interpretation!

I've used Claire Keay's set designed for MFT - Just Bee Yourself.  So cute IMO!  I started my design with chocolate and yellow.  I then decided that I needed one more color so I pulled in red.  And I LOVE how it turned out. 

Using Momento ink, I stamped my main image onto really high quality white cardstock.  I colored my image with Copic markers and sparkled up the highlights with a sparkly Sakura gel pen. 

I have THIS super cute deck of alphabet cards from K&Company.  Obviously, I wanted to use the letter "B" card for BEE but it was too large to fit into my design so I simply trimmed out the bees and used them for an accent!

I used one sentiment "You Are Bee-utiful" as a decorative element on two of my front panels.  Both panels are matted with yellow Swiss dot paper followed by Basic Grey papers.  The rest of my papers are from SU!, Basic Grey and Michael's (Recollections - house brand).  My white cardstock is from The Paper Source.

I kept my interior simple.  A slice of Basic Grey designer paper, a simple stamped image - add on a BG scrapbook sticker heart and a self adhesive chipboard panel stamped with my sentiment. 

Just too cute!!  I can't wait to surprise my DD with this today!!
