Tiddly Inks Challenge #49 - Anything Goes Plus A Hop!!

Hello All!!  So excited to be here with you this evening to continue to celebrate Tiddly Inks' first birthday!!!  We're having our regular challenge (#49) going on at the Challenge Blog here.  But we are also having a smashingly fun blog hop to celebrate!!

If you are already hopping along you should be coming here from Christy's blog then you are on the right track to solving the puzzle. My puzzle piece is shown below.  My creation today uses the beautiful and adorable new Lilli Claire - Did You Hear image.  I LOVE her overalls!!  So much so that I felt compelled to paper piece them =)  I printed Lilli Claire twice.  Once on white cardstock and again on my SU! textured blue cardstock.  I colored her first with my Copics.  I then paper pieced her overalls. 

I did her hair in many different colors and kept my shading sort of all over the place...intentionally.  I love that messy look sometimes!  I used scraps that I pulled from one of my many scrap bins to put this card together.  The papers are from a Farmer's Market DCWV mat stack.  Totally appropriate IMO!!  

I layered, scalloped and stitched.  I used my Cuttlebug polka dot embossing folder to perk up the background a bit as well.  I used hemp twine, stitched SU! ribbon and linen twine as my fibrous embellishments.  I used my new MFT "bread bag" die along with sentiment XOXO hanging from my top most twine.  I then used a bling strip for the bottom.  

I kept my card interior simple and basic.
