Tiddly Tuesday!! Challenge #37 - Love Is In The Air!!

Hello Everyone!!  Happy Tiddly Tuesday!!  Today I'm here with our newest challenge - Love Is In The Air!!    We were challenged this week to come up with a romantic themed card and/or gift holder.  I went with a card.  I've been dying to color up Dr. Love Boto.  He's just so super sweet!!

I printed him twice.  Once on good, white cardstock and again on my star print designer paper.  I colored him in with my Prismacolor pencils, purposefully being haphazard with my pencil lines.  I then went back over him with a paper stump and Burt's Bees Apricot Baby Oil for blending.  Once again, I intentionally went out of the lines to give him a smudgy appearance.

I paper pieced his shoes and heart.  I glittered up his hands with SU! Super Nova fine glitter.  I layered and stitched all around him.  I used some ivory felt to whip up a few flowers that are held onto my card with glue dots. 

I used Tiddly's sentiment "I Loved You At First Byte" from this set.  I printed it out and matted it with coordinating DP.  I then cut more ivory felt out using my Big Shot and my Large Label nesties.  I added a strip of ivory ribbon that I'd stitched and then run through my Xyron.
