Hey Y'all...Ms. September here!! It's been TOO long since I've posted using one of the always gorgeous Bombshell gals!! Oh how I've missed them!!!
Today I'm using a new digi set "Western Gal". And Kathi has come up with yet another BRILLIANT sketch for us gals to follow!!! I first colored this gorgeous lady with my Copic and Prismacolor markers. I trimmed her out and set her aside.
I started with SU!s Mellow Moss as my card base. I used my Log Cabin Smooch Spritz to grunge up the edges which I set aside to dry.
My next layer is gorgeous DP from My Mind's Eye - Alphabet Soup line. On top of that I used a teal cardstock from Bazzil upon which I stamped sheriff stars (SU!) in Tim Holtz Tea Dye ink.
Sitting on top of those 2 layers I placed my chocolate brown scallop edging and atop that a strip of wool that I purchased in a ball at my local antique store. I lightly adhered those together and took them to my sewing machine. I used the widest zig zag stitch and went around the 3 edges of the paper and the bottom edge of the wool.
I then added a strip of light tan cardstock that I coated in the same tea dye ink and added a sticker for my sentiment that says 'sugar-n-spice'. That's what this sassy gal is!!
I took my white gel pen and added a few accents here and there to make her pop. I added her to my card using 3-D foam adhesive.
I love this sketch and am so happy with the way my card turned out!!
I hope you enjoy and have been inspired!! Please come play along with us at the Bombshell Forum!!
