Tiddly Inks Challenge #28

Welcome everyone!!  Today I'm here with you with a color challenge!

This week we at TI challenge you to create with the following colors:

Mustard

Purple

Olive Green

Here is my creation for this week:

I started with my main image of Bloom Q.  I printed her out twice knowing that I wanted both sets of petals to be in 3-D.  I colored them both the same colors and just changed the stickles.  The petals underneath have brown stickles and the petals on top have green. 

 

After my stickles dried, I trimmed out both flowers and their petals.  I used my fingers to soften up the petals a bit so they would curl up some.  I added one on top of the other using 3-D adhesive dots.

I had chosen my cardstock for my base, ivory at 4.25 x 5.5, followed by a dark green cardstock.  My next two papers the purple and yellow are designer papers from a mat stack that I've been using religiously throughout the entire month of October!  I LOVE when I actually USE my stuff rather than hoarding it!  LOL!

I colored in my cutie girl in our designated colors (I love how very Brady Bunch she looks!!!) using my Copic markers.  I trimmed her out and popped her up on the upper flower.  I then set that entire piece aside.  

I added my layers of paper embellished with a medium zig zag stitch in ivory.  I printed out the Flutterflies set and colored them all the same.  I then punched them out and added them as a border on the left hand side.  I added some SU! ribbon and my sentiment 'Believe!' from the Bloom Q set.  Yep!  I said set!  Lots of the Tiddly Inks images come with sentiments or accessories!!  You must come to the shop to check out what's new for November!!!!

I then took my "dot" markers and added tiny dots on either side of my sentiment to make it pop just a bit more.  

My interior holds a piece of purple DP, a strip of the same ribbon and the new sentiment from the Harmony at Home Set.
