Welcome everyone!!! I'm thrilled to be here with you today to bring you the first of many Christmas Emo stamp releases!!!
YAY!!!
Today we are previewing Tree Trimming Rio!! I was so exited to start the holiday season!!! I know, I know, it's early but it's still fun!!!
I started by printing Rio out and coloring her with my Copics and Prismacolor markers as well as my Sakura gel pens. I then sponged the edges with my spongy dauber and Brilliance Pearlescent ink. I matted her to a scrap of SU! DP and stitched around the edges.
I then set my main image aside.
My card base measures 6 x 5 1/4. All the DP is SU! from last season. I matted the red polka dot to my evergreen cardbase and haphazardly stitched the edges.
I then added a strip embellishment of ivory with red polkadots with gold check sewn with a red snowflake pattern stitched in red with my machine.
I used Tim Holtz distressing ink in Vintage Photo on the edges of this strip embellishment to make it pop a little more.
I adhered that to the card and then used white, linen baker's twine wrapped multiple times and threaded through an evergreen button tied with a bow.
I hope you have enjoyed my preview!!! Make sure you see all of the fabulously talented SBS ladies and leave lots of love!!
Crafty Hugs!
