Smeared Ink Monday!!!!
Greetings Everyone!!!
I hope that everyone had a fabulously creative weekend!!
I'm here today to bring you some fabulous Smeared Ink stamps AS WELL as showing off our amazing August Very Sketchy monthly sponsor WILD FLOWER KIDS!!! Wild Flower Kids Rubber Stamps came about as a collaboration between Tonya Klar of StampHappens.com and Jen Shults of Deconstructingjen.com. Jen maintains the Kids and Wild Flower Kids are sold exclusively through Tonya’s store StampHappens Shop.
Today I used Jen's gorgeous Alice In Wonderland stamp along with Smeared Ink's Killer Bo Peep accessories.
My light blue SU! textured cardstock base measures 6x6. I then cut a 5.75" square of chocolate brown cardstock for my next layer. I rummaged through my scrap drawer pulling out pieces of cardstock that reminded me of Alice's world. I then pieced them all together and stitched each piece creating a quilt like feeling.
I printed Alice on white cardstock and colored her with my Copic markers and sparkly Sakura gel pens. I stamped the Bo Peep accessories (flowers and mushrooms) on white cardstock as a border along the bottom in Momento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them in with my Copics.
For accents I used the red grosgrain ribbon with white stitching and a chipboard bracket. I coated the chipboard bracket in Brilliance Pearlescent Poppy pigment ink and generously sprinkled Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel on it and heat set it. I used sparkly stickers to spell out "One Pill" from one of my favorite Jefferson Airplane song....White Rabbit.
Thank you Jen for sponsoring August's Very Sketchy at Smeared Ink this month!!! Please come and play along and you too could win 5 Wildflower Kid Images!!!
Thanks for visiting!!
XOXO-
Meredith
