Hello Everyone!! Welcome to the newest version of the QKD hop!!! Our entire team is hopping together!! YAY!!!
You should have come here via Anita's fabulous blog however, if you have simply happened up on here you simply must start HERE so that you don't miss one fantastic creation!!!
Today's hop is a sketch inspired challenge. I'm designing for the Dark Ink Sorority so I had SO much fun grunging my creation up!!
I used the Jersey set choosing the I {heart} Vampires sentiment. My cardbase is chocolate followed by assorted DP that I recently picked up at Michael's.
I layered as the sketch does and then took my Log Cabin Smooch Spritz and sprayed the background. My image is stamped on Lilac cardstock in Black Momento Ink. In lieu of ribbon I used thick hemp twine to tie along the bottom.
I used one of QKD's newest products!! Introducing our Happy Stixx!! They are miniature popsicle sticks that have a variety of sentiments on them. They are SUPER fabulous as a tuck in embellishment, internal card sentiment, added to a scrapbook layout...the size is perfect!!
I tucked the Lucky Happy Stixx into the twine as an added sentiment/embellishment. It is just PERFECT!!
My last touch was the 2 "bite" marks in the upper left hand corner of my main panel. I punched 2 holes using my small hole punch and used my Dot Markers to create perfect "bloody" bite marks! (insert evil giggle here)
I hope you have had a great time hopping thus far!! Please leave lots of love for my fellow awesome Design Team members here at QKD!!
Now off you scoot to the WIS blog to see what gorgeousness is happening over there!!
XOXO-
Meredith
