Happy Friday!!! I'm so excited to be here to show off this month's amazing Bombshell challenge put forth by my fellow DT member at SI Alison! She is Ms. July at Bombshell!! Here is her challenge:

Photo-Synthesis
Time to have fun with photos! There are three ways to play along with this challenge!
For the Scrapbookers: Make a layout featuring a photo(s) that have a pin-up feel to it. Maybe it's a picture of you and your car. Or your daughter wearing some vintage clothes. Or your niece in a pin-up style pose. Of course, you'll want to use some of your fabulous Bombshell Stamps on the page!
For the Card Makers: Make a photo card! Using a photo with a vintage feel, make a card that includes your Bombshell Stamps! Some examples include: a super cool Anniversary card for your other half featuring a haute pin-up style pic of you. Maybe a sweet shot of a hot rod for that car lover in your life.
For the Altered Artist: Make a fabulous creation using photos, altered art and your Bombshell Stamps! You can make a shadowbox with car memorablia and a Bombshell or two. You could decorate a frame covered with Bombshells that's housing a vintage photo.

I had a blast rummaging through my and my hubby's old pics. There are so many to choose from!! I went with one that was my Dad's, 3 of my husbands, one of mine and one of us now with our children.
I ended up doing a scrapbook layout as I've been jonesing to do one lately.
I chose childhood pictures of my husband and I - roughly around the same age, give or take a year or so. I used a melange of Bombshell sets:
Man's Ruin
Girls Ruin
Queen Of Diamonds
Speed Shop
I took many of the small design elements and sprinkled them throughout my page so as to not distract from the photos themselves but to enhance them.
I used the crown from the Queen of Diamonds set on the picture of myself as a little girl (posey, posey - Bomshell Girl in training;) as well as on my daughter - present day from a party we went to where they had the cool photo booths. I used the checkered flag and hot rod from the Speed Shop set to represent my husband's love of cars - old and new!
The music notes and LP stamp at the bottom symbolize our families LOVE of music of any kind. The old school boom box in the center of the layout was my husbands in high school, college and lives in our garage to this day that he uses when he works on our 79 Toyota Landcruiser. It doesn't look nearly that shiny anymore ;)
The Saab picture was my husband's Step-Grandmother's. It was supposed to be his but that never ended up happening as the dear lady cracked the head of the engine by letting it run out of oil and continuing to drive it BUT he saved up the money and purchased one himself (or maybe with the help of his parents) that looked very similar and he LOVED that car!! And he looked so stinkin' cute in it! LOL!
As you can see...my ride was an old school pink Huffy bike...which I adored!!!
I had such a blast putting this together. It is now hanging in my guest bathroom where I hang all old photos in those 3-D plexi frames. I have to get a 12x12 frame for this and it'll have it's permanent home!!
I hope you enjoyed my Photo-Synthesis journey down memory lane!!
Thanks for visiting!!!
XOXO
