There are ALWAYS lots of swaps, challenges and ideas going on so come on over and check it out!!
These ATC's were made with mostly scraps - as that has been my Mantra since the beginning of the year. Use scraps first, use scraps first, use scraps first... =)

I started with my pre-cut ATC cards. I buy them in packs whenever I go to Maine. There is this tiny little store called The Art Guru that I frequent every time I head North for a weekend.

I then stitched my border with black thread in a loopy pattern. I then pulled out my old school label maker. The kind where you have to squeeze with all of your might in order to be able to make the impression of the letters in the sticky plastic strip. I did that 10 times! (ouch! lol) with the word 'altered'. And added it to the bottom right of my ATC.

Lastly I added a little 'owl' clip for a bit of extra texture.
I was really happy with how these came out but even happier with the gorgeous ones that I received in return!!
Thanks to all of the gals at S&S who participated in the January ATC swap! It was AWESOME!!
And thank you Terra for organizing!!!
XOXO-
