Tempting Lorali Thursday!!

Hello Everyone!!! Welcome to another awesome Thursday!! Today I'm featuring another gorgeous view of Love Never Goes Out of Style. This is this month's WIS Kit!! You have to run and grab one because they sell out fast and they are for a limited time!!

This creation is another one for my daughter. For my daughter and her best friend Anna. They are constantly making art for each other, writing each other letters, notes, etc. We live 1 street away. But soon they are moving. Not far but it's not across the street. So I want this to be their...journal. One will keep it for one week and then will pass it to the other and she will have it for a week. Back and forth until it's filled. It's a tradition that I want to start with them and if they stick with it great and if not that's ok too!

But I have a feeling they will.
They both love blue and all things girlie. So I first set to coloring my image in a variety of Copics, Souffle and paint pens. I stamped the Forever Friends in SU! tempting turquoise as it fit exactly where I wanted it! I love when that happens.
I found these amazing paper flowers at Marshall's of all places!! And I'm not usually one for flowers but these are a favorite color of mine and they are really well made. Super heavy cardstock.

I just sporadically started to adhere them with SU! tiny adhesive dots. When I got the look that I wanted I embellished further with self-adhesive rhinestones.

I set the piece aside and covered the journal with basic Kraft paper and a strip of black cardstock. I used a piece of gold cording as both an embellishment and a built-in bookmark!!

I can't wait for them to start using it!!
