Happy Baby!!!

My darling and sweetest friend Janine is having her third baby soon. Not sure what it is but we're all so excited for her in a couple of weeks!! YAY!!! I am a FIRM believer that no matter how many babies you have, you and the baby should be celebrated with as much enthusiasm as the first. Perhaps the gifts change slightly but by the third it's nice to get ALL new stuff, no matter how many hand me downs there are from the first two!

Another friend of ours planned a shower for her. Unfortunately I could not go but my friend Kristyn and I went in on a super fab baby tub full of fun that I was able to give her recently. Onsies, rattles, wash cloths, receiving blankets, toys, teething rings, toy wipes (they didn't have those 5 years ago when I had my first!...so cool) etc. It was so fun shopping for baby stuff!!

BUT, I digress...here is the card that I made for her. Simple and clean lines...that's Janine. But since we don't know the sex I had to go neutral but didn't want to go green or yellow. So I chose neutral browns and tans and red. I LOVE how it came out!
The onsie is a stamp from an OLD Fiskars set I have. It is stamped in Brilliance Rocket Red (my new fav) and heat set. I then colored it with my Copics, giving it a slightly tye-dye look. The heart is from PTI.

I matted it with Kraft and popped it up on a foam adhesive dot. The 2 DP's are from a DWCV (?)mat stack.

I decorated the inside with another Fiskars adorable stamp that's all diaper pins. Stamped in the same ink and heat set. I paired it with the matching paper for added visual dimension.
