Tempting Lorali Thursdays featuring Mad Hatted Mermaid!!

Here's my post from the WIS blog today!!!

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEE this mermaid!! Perfect for MANY occasions but in this particular case she is PERFECT for Halloween!!

I didn't want to make this creation TOO Halloweeny...but just subtle enough to entice that the holiday is coming! (it's one of my favs...right next to Valentine's Day!)

I wasn't feelin' the card mood today so I busted into my alterable stash and pulled out this mini clipboard.

I removed the clip and set to the board with my Brilliance (what else?) Pearlescent Gold pigment ink pad. I smooshed it all around on the chipboard, covered it with embossing powder and heat set it. Clearly by now you all know this is something that I LOVE to do!!

I then used this adorable Bo Bunny candy paper as a "wrapper" for the background of the clipboard.

I used my Copics and sparkly Sakura gel pens to color.

I had THE best time coloring her and her snarky little kitty!!! I matted my image in retired SU! Vintage Violet paper. It was one of my all time favorite colors that they ever put out!

I then adhered her to the board and tied solid color, matching, varying sized grosgrain ribbons to the top of the clip on the board.

And VOILA! I've once again fallen in love with one of Maigan's gorgeous girls!!! And I know you will too so swing on by the shoppe and pick some of these lovely ladies up!! I PROMISE you you'll love working with them!!!
