I chose to do a 4 x 4 card as it is just a GREAT size and I recently bought envelopes that fit perfectly. There's just something slightly off when you use an envelope that isn't the proper size for the card. Sometimes it's a must do but I like to see if I can find a fit.
Anyway - I was inspired to zip through my scrap drawer...that has now spilled over into a scrap box, a scrap binder, scrap Zip-Lock bags in addition to my existing scrap drawer...YIKES! Anyway - I used mostly scrap for this project and I LOVE LOVE how it came out and how well the colors compliment each other.
My sewing machine is back to life so I used this opportunity to put lots of stitching all over the card. I just love the touch that sewing lends to the finished product.
I complimented the stitching with some self adhering red pearls just to add a little bit of whimsy to the card.
I hope that everyone has a fantastic weekend...RAIN OR SHINE!!
XOXO!
